I love making cocktails-it’s one of my favorite things to do if I’m hosting. Today I am collaborating with One Hope Wine and bringing you one of my favorite cocktails for Memorial Day shenanigans. When I have friends over, French 75 is a quick go to! It’s nice and easy plus who doesn’t like to add some sparkling wine to their drink!  One Hope is a lifestyle brand that sells wine and other products that all give back to different charitable causes. As of today, proceeds from all One Hope products have provided over $1 million to different causes. This beautiful glitter bottle of Brut Sparkling Wine (so fun, right!?) provides 15 meals to a child in need. We buy bottles of wine all the time-why not make it something special?! You can choose from a range of different causes (anywhere from ending hunger to providing clean water) and are able to see on the site how much has been donated under the cause you supported. I personally think it makes for the perfect gift-I’m already thinking about birthdays and the holidays! 🙂

Cheers to drinking and making an impact!

French 75

Ingredients:

Garnish: Blueberries or Lemon peel (you are free to choose what you like!)

2 oz Champagne or Sparkling Wine

1/2 oz Lemon juice

Ice Cubes

1 oz Gin

1 tsp of Simple syrup (I prefer without)

Preparation:

Combine ingredients in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously and strain into an iced champagne glass. Enjoy! 🙂
