Those who know me well know that I don’t usually wear bright colors on my lips. It’s not that I don’t think they are pretty but I lean more to the neutral lighter tones. However, throughout the years, I have slowly opened up to wearing more bold reds and pinks. The yellow undertone of my skin makes it difficult for me to find the right shade so I was so happy to find ILIA lipsticks complemented my skin so well. Both Crimson & Clover and Jump are perfect shades for summer months and fall.

What initially drew me into this brand was the ethical-sustainable approach. ILIA lipsticks are made with 85% bioactive organic ingredients and the lipsticks are packaged in a recycled aluminum case. You can feel the moisture-richnesss on your lips as soon as you apply them. I usually wear a lip conditioner/exfoliator the night before to moisturize and soften my lips (FYI, ILIA also has an awesome one) but with ingredients like Jojoba oil, Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter on all their lipsticks, I almost don’t really have a need to do that!

So, which lip color are you planning to wear all summer long?

Lourdes
