3 Steps To Smoother Skin

With summer just around the corner, there is no better time like the present to start getting that booty smoother! Truth be told, I would be lying if I told you I did this everyday but I do try my best to do it 3-5 times a week. I’ve always suffered from cellulite and it drives me insane ( I mean why would anyone like it?) – and I will tell you that ever since I started doing this routine I have seen results. Lets keep in mind that you have to eat healthy and workout too – don’t expect to get results from scrubbing if you’re having a whopper and fries everyday! 🙂  Try this out for a couple of weeks and let me know what you think – I would love to know if it works for you. Oh, and one more thing….this is not only for people with cellulite – this is super helpful to smooth your skin overall!

DRY BRUSH BEFORE YOU SHOWER

This is probably one of the best ways to get glowing skin – dry brushing has many benefits. Dry brushing increases circulation and blood flow and It helps circulate nutrients through the body as well as waste, helping to take pressure off the kidneys to regulate the amount of water in the body. Make sure you buy a brush with natural bristles. Now the technique is for you to start at your ankles and brush towards the direction of your heart (so upward motion) – do this before you shower once a day and trust me you in a few months you’ll be thanking me.

USE COFFEE SCRUB IN THE SHOWER

Not only will the smell def. wake you up but this scrub will take away any dry skin and will smooth your lumps – so what’s so special about coffee? Well because coffee is literally the enemy of cellulite – it’s an antioxidant and has been proven to diminish the appearance of cellulite over time. My favorite brand is Frank Body for its consistency and branding ( the coolest and funniest branding…EVAH!)  but when I run out of it, I also make my own!

OIL UP

After you’ve done the first two steps – you are def. going to want to oil up. After you shower – massage different parts of your body with a body oil. This is my favorite one because it doesn’t clog my pores and helps even out my skin.

I heard about dry brushing but never thought of trying it. Maybe I’ll give it a try this summer
