Winter is coming and this doesn’t only mean that it’s time to shop for new coats and sweaters but also for skincare products that help your skin adjust to the cold season. I first heard about Trilogy from my bestie who was using the rosehip oil and raved so much about it. I will tell you that I’ve never been the person who has a strict skincare routine. I mean, yes I do follow the basic rules…wash my face before going to bed, wear sunscreen and scrub twice a week…etc. but I’ve never been one to obsess. However, now that I’m getting older I figured a routine might be a good thing! So I’ve been using a few of the Trilogy products and this is what I have to report:

Trilogy Rosehip Antioxidant: I can’t tell you enough how much I’ve come to love this product!! I will assure you that this will be one of the products I will be using for a very long time. I don’t add many steps to my skincare routine and this product is great at multi-tasking. The rosehip oil has moisturized,  brightened my skin and my overall skin appearance looks so much better even after I wear makeup….I’m totally obsessed!

Trilogy Everything Balm: This lives on my bedside table and purse…why? Well I love to use it on my hands and feet right before I sleep and I carry it on me all day to moisterize my lips and cuticles…it’s literally for “everything”. This will def. come in handy once the temperatures drop below 30 degrees in NYC.

Trilogy Make Up Be Gone: This is my new favorite make-up remover! This baby does double the job-it removes my makeup so easily AND nourishes my skin with the plant oils that is made with. It’s a win-win for me!!

Lastly, as if I needed any more reason to love them…this brand provides a strong commitment to social responsibility and the environment. From working closely with the suppliers to supporting local communities by teaming up with So They Can, a not-for-profit organization helping women achieve a self-sufficient and sustainable way of making an income-in Kenya and Tanzania. Trilogy has given 100 women an annual income and has paid for a full year of education for 500 children. What this brand is achieving speaks to why I started this blog and why I believe businesses have the power to make a difference in someone’s life (in this case, an entire community).

Oh, and one more thing, the fur used in this shoot is Faux. 🙂
