Balancing It All

Today I want to catch up with you guys – it’s been a while since I’ve caught you all to speed with my life. I guess the most important update is that I started working again! For the last 3 months I’ve been working as a social media freelancer in a small boutique PR firm. It’s been great to be part of a team again and to learn new skills that are going to help me personally and professionally. Of course, It’ hasn’t been all perfect….balancing the job with the blog has be very challenging and sometimes I have my doubts of how I’m going to do it all!  But in my gut I know that one way or another it all has to get done and that having a job is helping me in more ways than one. I have to admit part of the problem is that I’m not an organized person ( I’m saying that in a much nicer way….many times I just feel like a hot mess! lol!!) so having more than one job will hopefully force me to get my shit together. It’s really interesting how tired your body gets over the years because a few years back I was juggling two jobs and school and now I can barely stay up pass 11!

As for the blog, well, it’s a full time job on it’s own. If the blog is your business and not just a hobby then you know it’s extremely time consuming – and as anyone trying to build a business will tell you, there are many times where I question myself about it all. Thankfully I have my amazing husband Thomas, who is my number one supporter and always there to lend a hand and make my life easier.  I also don’t know what I would do without my girl Christina from chloedigital – she helps me stay in line and inspires me to dream bigger…she’s a real gem and Please, Do Tell wouldn’t be the same without her.

The older I get the more I realize that life is not always going to be balanced and perfect – and at times we have to embrace the mess and make it all work! Thank you for going on this journey with me

    Pobrecita!
I know how you feel, having 2 full time jobs is not easy and it hasn’t been for me either. I’m trying to get my business running and at the same time the 24/7 job, a mother of two. Hang in there and be persistent everything is going to work out for you. Good luck on your new job and let’s keep dreaming big!
