Living in the city can take a toll on you and from time to time, I like to take a little break without wanting to put too much effort into the planning. This past weekend, I headed North for some R&R and it was great! We stayed at Hasbrouck House in Stone Ridge, New York which is only two hours away from the city. Hasbrouck had everything I needed to relax, like good food, a cozy fireplace, free yoga for guests, and a lake within walking distance. A long weekend was enough for me to come back home on Sunday feeling rested and refreshed to tackle the new week.

Such a tranquil beautiful place! I need a city escape, too. You look very blissed out. You took beautiful pictures of the B&B. It looks lovely!
Check out the Mark Gruber Gallery in New Paltz on the way in or out of town! Great local art of the area.
