The Vibe: Hasbrouck House feels like a retreat getaway. It’s suited best for couples, mom + daughter, and friends who want solitude while not compromising luxury comforts. SCRIBNER’S CATSKILL LODGE | HUNTER, NY
The Vibe: Catskill chic meets Brooklyn is the best way to describe this lodge. The property has a nice balance of modern yet vintage vibe. What I loved the most about it was their restaurant called Prospect. The food and service are fantastic. Even if you don’t stay in this property, make sure to book dinner here. The Vibe: I know what you’re thinking…this stunning property looks more like what you would find in Italy and not Upstate! Well, I’m here to tell you that it is in New York! This is definitely for those seeking to splurge on a short getaway! I recommend this for a special occasion – like Valentine’s Day or a Birthday. The Vibe: This hotel was purchased by a couple who remodeled the space to look more modern and chic. This hotel is suited for couples or friends – the style is fun and will def. make an appearance on your Instagram!

MOHONK MOUNTAIN HOUSE | NEW PALTZ, NY

The Vibe: Majestic enough to make you think you’re in Scotland – this beautiful property is less than 3 hours away from the city. Perfect for families or couples, there’s a ton to do and if you don’t want to book a room, you can get a day-pass and take advantage of the restaurant, the spa and hiking trails!
