You will hear me say this over and over again, the best way to learn about different cultures around the world is through food. Why? Well because through the food you can learn about a countries history, it's people and land.
We can all agree that most of New York City is very grand. The city is filled with skyscrapers and large avenues but the West Village is different. It's one of the charming areas of NYC that makes you feel like you're in Europe and not in the states.
Raise your hand if you love coffee!? ( It's not like I can see you do that but just go along with it! haha) My coffee addiction has nothing to do with caffeine but more to do with taste. I actually enjoy drinking it and choose to be very picky about what coffee brands I choose to drink from.
It's not hard to fall in love with this neighborhood. As you move away from Canal and keep walking south then west, you'll almost wonder how such a quiet area can exist right by the chaos that is Chinatown.

The United Arab Emirates literally wants it all. Don't you agree? Now they even have the Louvre - which would have been great to see 2 years ago when I traveled there. I guess now I have a reason to go back! :)
