Exposed

Hi friends!

On Tuesday, I took a short trip to the Museum at FIT. My cousin had emailed me about a temporary lingerie exhibit that they were having called: “Exposed-A History of Lingerie” . The exhibit showcased the fashion evolution of lingerie starting from the 18th century until the present. The pieces were all very beautiful and each piece told a story about a woman’s life and personality.

Truth be told, I have always been a bit obsessed with lingerie. Honestly, what you wear underneath is just as important as your outfit. I would argue it’s even more important. Ever notice how the wrong bra can mess up an entire outfit? Hello!! Hehe. Also, get ready to go shopping after you leave because the exhibit will leave you with a desire to splurge on new silky pajamas!

So, if you have some time, go to the Museum at FIT and check it out-the exhibit is available until November 15.

Check out my faves from the exhibit. 🙂
